Godot Game Engine expert

About the Role

Micro1 is looking for experienced Godot specialists to support an AI training project. You will do real 2D and 3D game development work and explain each step to help AI systems understand game development.

What You'll Do

• Create and modify 2D and 3D games in Godot.
• Build gameplay mechanics, animations and UI elements.
• Work with GDScript, scenes, nodes and game physics.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Write clear instructions and detailed prompts for game development workflows.

Requirements

• Strong professional Godot experience with GDScript or C#.
• Good understanding of 2D/3D development, scenes, nodes and animation; able to debug and optimize gameplay systems.
• Access to Godot and ability to record your screen.
• English at B2 level or higher and clear technical explanations.
• Preferred: Godot portfolio, relevant master's or PhD, human-data or RLHF experience, multiplayer, physics or UI/UX experience.

Compensation & Logistics

Contractor role, fully remote. Pay $70-$130 per hour. Contractor role. Hourly pay; hours per week set by your availability. Screening asks start date, expected hourly rate and weekly availability. Screen recording of your work is required.
