Krita Expert

About the Role

Micro1 is looking for experienced Krita artists to support an AI training project. You will complete real digital illustration and design tasks and explain your workflows so AI systems learn more about digital art.

What You'll Do

• Create and edit digital illustrations and artwork in Krita
• Work on digital painting, character design and concept art
• Use brushes, layers, masks and color management tools
• Create and refine 2D animations and visual assets
• Complete advanced tasks while explaining workflows step by step
• Write clear instructions and detailed prompts for digital art workflows

Requirements

• Strong professional hands-on Krita experience
• Experience in digital painting, illustration and concept art
• Good understanding of brushes, layers, masks and digital art techniques
• Ability to produce high-quality artwork and assets
• Access to Krita and the ability to record your screen
• English at B2 or higher
• Nice to have: portfolio, master's or PhD in fine arts or graphic design, human data experience, character design or 2D animation experience

Compensation & Logistics

Pay is $21-$70 per hour. This is an independent contractor engagement, fully remote, with no country restriction stated in the listing. Applicants should be able to record their screen while working and have English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
