Electronic Engineer (Qucs-S)

About the Role

This contract role supports an AI training project. You will design and simulate circuits in Qucs-S and walk through your workflow step by step to improve how AI systems understand electronics engineering.

What You'll Do

• Design and simulate circuits in Qucs-S
• Handle analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits
• Run AC, DC and transient analyses
• Troubleshoot circuits and improve their performance
• Write clear instructions and prompts for simulation tasks

Requirements

• Strong professional Qucs-S experience
• Hands-on circuit design and simulation; knowledge of SPICE, circuit analysis and components
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing simulation results
• Access to Qucs-S and ability to record your screen
• English at B2 or higher
• Preferred: master's or PhD in electrical or electronics engineering, prior human-data work, other EDA tools, professional hardware experience

Compensation & Logistics

Contract (independent contractor) role, fully remote with no country restriction stated. Pay is $65-$123 per hour. Applicants are asked about start date, expected hourly rate and weekly availability, and must be able to record their screen while working.
