Paralegal

About the Role

This is a remote expert contract for paralegals who help train and check AI systems on legal work. The focus areas are legal research and verification and document review, so your day-to-day paralegal judgment is what the project needs.

What You'll Do

• Verify legal research and check that cited material supports the conclusions drawn
• Review legal documents and flag problems against the project specifications
• Complete tasks to the quality bar set by the project and submit a minimum number each week

Requirements

• Practical paralegal experience, with the application asking where you did most of your work (large law firm, regional or mid-size firm, small firm or solo practice, in-house legal department, or government, court or legal vendor)
• Able to commit 10-15+ hours per week
• Able to review and sign the contract within 24 hours and begin tasking within 24-48 hours of receiving credentials
• Comfortable with weekly minimum task submissions

Compensation & Logistics

The listed rate is $40-$80 per hour, and you give your expected hourly rate in USD when applying. Compensation is output-based: experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications, and the time a task takes depends on your experience and workflow. A minimum number of tasks per week applies. The work is remote.
