Junior Lawyer

About the Role

micro1 is engaging junior lawyers for a customer project improving legal AI systems. You will review and shape legal text under US standards so models learn from accurate material.

What You'll Do

• Review and annotate legal documents, agreements and case law for clarity and compliance with US legal standards
• Cite-check and enforce Bluebook format
• Curate, edit and evaluate legal writing samples for datasets
• Give feedback on arguments, structure and use of precedent
• Summarize legal concepts clearly and validate AI outputs for legal accuracy

Requirements

• US law school JD, strong preference for T14 alumni or current students
• Law review or journal editing experience (required for law students)
• Excellent Bluebook and cite-checking skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Document review, legal analysis or paralegal experience in the US system

Compensation & Logistics

Pay: $50-$80 per hour. Contractor, remote, collaborating with project managers and legal experts. Contractor role with flexible, remote work. Applicants answer screening questions (start date, expected hourly rate, weekly availability), complete an AI interview and a profile review, then go through onboarding.
