Strategic Project Lead, Robotics
About the Role
A full-time, remote leadership role owning robotics data pipelines from capture through final delivery, with accountability for quality, scale and efficiency. You will work closely with engineering, operations and finance on complex, high-impact projects.
What You'll Do
- Own robotics data pipelines end to end.
- Design and optimize large-scale data collection and processing pipelines.
- Scale operations while balancing cost, quality and throughput.
- Deploy and manage hardware such as multi-camera rigs and RGB, stereo and IMU sensors.
- Lead data transformation to client schemas and formats.
- Automate validation, QA and reporting, and remove bottlenecks.
- Define capture protocols, workflows and operating standards, and turn client requirements into working processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience with robotics or high-throughput data pipelines.
- Hands-on with sensor systems, FPS constraints and multi-camera setups.
- Analytical, systems-oriented, able to trade off cost, speed and quality.
- Experience with large-scale data processing, storage and delivery; defining schemas and standards.
- High ownership and comfort with ambiguity.
- Preferred: scaling robotics data operations from pilot to production, building internal QA tools, working directly with clients.
Compensation & Logistics
Full-time employment with a stated base salary of $120,000-$160,000 per year, equity eligibility and possible performance bonuses. Benefits include health-insurance reimbursement, paid time off and a 401(k) match.
