About the Role

Micro1 is recruiting professional photographers as contractors to support AI training with high-quality images and photographic expertise. No AI background is needed.

What You'll Do

• Write accurate descriptions, labels and context for images used in AI training.
• Analyze and explain visual content so AI systems interpret it better.
• Work with project coordinators to match deliverables to training needs.
• Organize, review and submit data according to project guidelines and deadlines.

Requirements

• Professional photography experience (portraits, landscapes, commercial or editorial).
• Experience with cameras and editing software such as Photoshop or Lightroom.
• A strong portfolio of consistent, high-quality work.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to take feedback and meet deadlines.
• Remote work experience; image description, caption or metadata writing is a plus.

Compensation & Logistics

Contractor role, fully remote. Pay range is $35-$105 per hour. Applicants state their expected hourly rate, weekly availability and start time, and share a portfolio link in the screening questions.
