Evaluation Specialist/Recent Grad

About the Role

Micro1 is engaging Evaluation Specialists and recent graduates for a customer project at the frontier of AI. You write difficult, well-researched questions that stress-test advanced models. No prior AI experience is needed; research and writing skill matter most.

What You'll Do

• Write original, challenging question-and-answer pairs across diverse subjects.
• Research each answer with source triangulation so it is accurate and documented.
• Build multi-step questions that need synthesis and analytical reasoning, not single lookups.
• Test questions against AI models and adjust difficulty based on the results.
• Document your process with citations and explanations, and revise after reviewer feedback.

Requirements

• Strong independent research and critical evaluation of sources.
• Precise written English (fluent, not necessarily native).
• Self-direction and reliability in remote, independent work.
• Interest in AI; prior AI training or evaluation experience is a plus but not required.
• Open to recent graduates, advanced-degree holders and people from any background with proven research and writing skills.

Compensation & Logistics

Remote contractor role listed at $20-$60/hr. Pay is output-based: you are paid per task that meets project specifications, and a minimum number of tasks per week applies. The screening asks about 10-15+ hours per week. Roles are typically filled within 48 hours, and selected experts are expected to start tasks 24-48 hours after onboarding. No location restriction is stated.
