Consumer Reviewer
About the Role
micro1 is hiring Consumer Reviewers to help evaluate and improve AI systems that answer questions about government services such as Medicare, passports, Social Security, VA benefits, student loans, and national parks. No AI or technical background is needed — reviewers draw on their own recent personal experience with these services. This is a short-term contractor engagement at 5-10 hours/week, fully remote.
What You'll Do
- Read sample questions about government services and judge whether they sound like something a real person would ask
- Review AI-generated answers and note what is clear, helpful, or confusing
- Give honest, specific feedback in your own words
- Suggest simple changes to make questions or answers easier to understand
Requirements
- Recent personal experience with Medicare or another U.S. government service (enrolling, applying, or similar)
- Comfortable with basic online tasks such as filling out a form
- Clear, honest communication
- Must be US-based
Compensation & Logistics
Paid hourly at $50-$150/hr depending on experience, for a short-term remote contract at 5-10 hours/week. Living in a rural or smaller community, or experience helping a family member with a government service, is a plus but not required.
