Paid Photo Contributor Opportunity (Hawaii-based)

Important — how this works: this is not an ongoing evaluation role. It is a one-time paid data collection task in which you submit photos and videos of yourself, plus a questionnaire, to build an AI dataset. You are sharing personal images and information, so only apply if you are comfortable with that.

About the Role

A paid project collecting photographs to support developing and evaluating AI systems. The dataset aims to represent people across a broad range of racial and ethnic backgrounds and physical appearances, and participants of all backgrounds are welcome.

What You'll Do

• Take and submit photographs of yourself following simple project instructions.
• Provide high-quality selfies and videos of yourself, including some from the past five years.
• Complete a short questionnaire about yourself and the images, including how you describe your race or ethnicity.
• Do everything remotely using your own smartphone.

Requirements

• Aged 18 or older.
• Based in Hawaii.
• A smartphone.
• Comfort sharing images of yourself and basic personal information.

Compensation & Logistics

Paid $140 per approved task; this is a one-time task, not hourly work, and applicants confirm they understand this. Done fully remotely, but restricted to people located in Hawaii.
