Infectious Disease Physician

About the Role

Mercor is working with a leading AI lab to evaluate health AI models. As a physician reviewer you read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to clinical questions in infectious disease.

What You'll Do

• Assess AI answers to infectious disease questions for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current standards of care
• Check each answer against the patient chart and choose the stronger of two responses
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity
• Flag errors that could compromise patient safety

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board certified in ABIM Infectious Disease through an ABMS member board or the AOA
• Active, unrestricted US medical license; residency complete, plus fellowship where the specialty requires one
• Currently practicing and seeing patients in the US, with at least 1 year of independent practice after training (3+ years strongly preferred)
• Clear written communication and close attention to detail

Compensation & Logistics

• Pay: $200/h
• Remote, flexible part-time hours (about 20 hours per week); immediate start
• Application: resume upload, a 25-minute conversational interview, and credential verification of license, board certification and practice setting
• Location restriction: requires a US license and current US practice (US only)
