Credit Expert (US/UK/Canada/Europe/Australia)

About the Role

Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Australia-based Credit Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

What You'll Do

You will bring your expertise in one or more of the following areas to a benchmark project training frontier AI models on credit reasoning:

• Credit and financial modeling
• Credit rating analysis
• Cash flow and liquidity analysis
• Covenant analysis (loan documents and credit agreements)
• Liquidation and recovery analysis (distressed credit)
• Structured credit and securitization analysis

Successful contributions increase the odds of being selected for future Mercor projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience working in credit at top firms (credit hedge funds, private credit, leveraged finance, restructuring advisory, distressed debt funds)
• Based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, or Australia
• Able to commit at least 10 hours per week

Compensation & Logistics

• Type: Independent Contractor
• Compensation: Confirmed in offer, paid weekly via Stripe or Wise
• Location: Remote (US, UK, Canada, Europe, or Australia)
• Commitment: At least 10 hours per week
• Contract: Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance. Your work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution.
