Builders & Developers: Share Your AI Coding Sessions
Important — how this works: this is not an ongoing evaluation role. You work on your own real project in a terminal coding assistant (OpenCode) while each session is recorded, and the recordings are shared with an AI research organization to study how people build with AI. Payment is per accepted session, not hourly.
About the Role
Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research organization to understand how people build with AI coding assistants. It wants builders, from experienced developers to non-coders who build with AI, to do their normal work while sessions are recorded.

- Pick the model for each task and switch whenever you naturally would
- Use one chat per task
Requirements
- Actively building a real project (side project, startup, app or LLM-powered feature)
- Use AI tools to build, such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Cline, Replit or Lovable

- Professional coding experience is welcome but not required
Compensation & Logistics
- Pay: $500 per accepted session (about 50 turns, typically 2-3 hours of active work)
- Remote, flexible schedule, immediate start
- No location restriction stated
