Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning (Spanish - Peninsular)

About the Role

Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to build text-to-speech systems that sound natural and expressive. It is recruiting Spain-based voice actors with native Castilian/Peninsular Spanish accents to record voice samples used to train and evaluate speech models. Both experienced voice professionals and newcomers with a clear, expressive voice and a good setup can apply. This is an ongoing opening, with new voices onboarded on a rolling basis.

What You'll Do

• Record voice samples across conversational, narrative and instructional scripts
• Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with strong control of tone, pacing and pronunciation
• Stay consistent in voice, accent and delivery, and follow recording guidelines for environment, microphone and file format
• Record multiple takes varying emotion, emphasis and style when asked

Requirements

• Native Castilian/Peninsular Spanish speaker currently based in Spain
• A professional or near-professional recording setup (quality microphone, quiet space, pop filter)
• Strong intonation, diction and emotional range, and the ability to follow scripts precisely
• Availability for one ~4-hour session, with a possible second session of similar length
• Comfort with voice cloning: your voice may be cloned for the client's internal CX AI agent
• Preferred: TTS, audiobook, IVR or AI voice dataset experience; audio editing tools such as Audacity, Adobe Audition or Reaper

Compensation & Logistics

Pay is $50-$100 per hour for roughly one 4-hour session; a second session is possible but not guaranteed. Recordings are used only for the client's internal CX AI agent and are not sold or reused elsewhere. Work is remote. Spain-based only.
