Equity Research Analyst / Associate

About the Role

A short-term contract engagement supporting a customer initiative that uses expert knowledge to train and improve AI systems for financial research. No AI experience is needed; what matters is recent, hands-on experience publishing sell-side research on public companies.

What You'll Do

• Take part in structured expert interviews about current sell-side research methods and workflows.
• Test AI-powered equity research tools and give feedback on usability, coverage and the quality of their analysis.
• Review generated financial content for accuracy, depth and industry relevance.
• Share views on how AI tools fit into traditional equity research.
• Document observations and recommendations that guide the development of finance-focused AI models.
• Work with project coordinators and give clear written and verbal feedback.

Requirements

• Current or recent work as a sell-side Equity Research Analyst or Associate, publishing research, ratings, price targets, earnings notes or coverage initiations.
• Familiarity with AI tools used in financial research is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with interviews, panels or feedback sessions on industry tools is a plus.
• Background serving institutional clients and meeting published sell-side standards.

Compensation & Logistics

• Pay: $180-$220 per hour.
• Contractor role, fully remote, short-term engagement.
