Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

A part-time contract role for experienced, U.S.-based senior data analysts who want to help shape how AI is trained and evaluated on real-world data work. Deep experience with large business data sets and strong QA habits are key; handling personally identifiable information (PII) is a plus.

What You'll Do

• Review data sets for PII, flag sensitive information and follow privacy best practices.
• Assess AI responses to data and business analysis scenarios and give expert feedback.
• Apply QA practices to validate data quality, flag inconsistencies and check analytical results.
• Build objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on analytical tasks.
• Work with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, analytics, statistics, information systems or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years as a Business or Data Analyst on large business data sets.
• Hands-on QA experience: data validation, reconciliation, verifying outputs.
• Experience managing data containing PII and sensitive material.
• Preferred: SQL, Excel and BI/visualization tools; advanced degree or certification; exposure to AI, data labeling or model evaluation.

Compensation & Logistics

• Pay: $50-$80 per hour, part-time contractor.
• Remote, but only for candidates based in the United States.
