Micro1 is engaging procurement and vendor management experts to design gradable AI benchmark tasks from real workflows. Remote, no geographic limits, up to $90/hr equivalent.

## About the Role
Micro1 is engaging experienced procurement and vendor management practitioners to design tasks that measure what AI systems can actually do. The work turns real workflows into realistic, difficult benchmark tasks that can be graded objectively. No prior AI experience is required.

## What You'll Do
- Design multi-step tasks drawn from real work (supplier assessment, bid comparison, vendor risk analysis, contract review) with realistic reference files and clear instructions
- Define objective grading criteria so two qualified reviewers reach the same verdict
- Build tasks that need judgment rather than lookup
- Create or source supporting materials: RFP responses, pricing schedules, contracts, SLAs, risk assessments
- Flag ambiguous or ungradable tasks instead of submitting them, and deliver approved tasks on schedule

## Requirements
- 5+ years of direct, hands-on responsibility in procurement, sourcing, supplier assessment or vendor management, not supervisory-only or adjacent exposure
- Experience creating or applying structured standards (supplier scorecards, weighted bid criteria, vendor risk frameworks or category strategies)
- Comfortable reasoning across several documents at once; CIPS, CPSM or equivalent certification is a plus but not required
- Strong English, B2 minimum and C1 preferred; AI or LLM evaluation experience is a plus but not required

## Compensation & Logistics
Contractor, project-based work paid per approved task, with roughly 10 hours per task and pay up to $90 per hour equivalent (listed range $45-$90/hr). Fully remote with no geographic restrictions. Next step is the role-specific AI interview, followed by profile review and onboarding with the Talent Ops team.
