Mercor is hiring practicing orthodontists to read de-identified dental imaging and review AI-drafted reads. Remote, US only (not California), $150/h.

## About the Role
Mercor is hiring practicing orthodontists (DDS and DMD) to help build rigorous evaluations of how well AI reads real dental imaging, in partnership with a leading AI lab. This is not image labeling: your clinical judgment becomes the reference standard used to train and test frontier AI models.

## What You'll Do
- Read de-identified cephalometric and panoramic radiographs, CBCT studies and intraoral scans and record the reference finding.
- Apply the diagnostic conventions and treatment-planning reasoning you use in practice.
- Review AI-drafted reads and flag anything inaccurate, unsupported or unsafe.
- Write structured rationales covering clinical rigor, completeness and clarity.

## Requirements
- DDS or DMD from a US dental school.
- Completed an accredited orthodontics residency (certificate or MS in orthodontics).
- Active, unrestricted US dental licence.
- Currently treating patients as an orthodontist in the US, with 5+ years of independent practice after residency.
- Resident in the US, outside California.
- Clear written communication and close attention to detail.

## Compensation & Logistics
- Pay: $150/h, remote with flexible part-time hours (about 20 hours per week).
- Start date: immediate.
- US only: you must live in the United States, outside California.
