Design realistic, gradable HR and people-operations benchmark tasks to test AI systems as an HR Expert contractor. Remote worldwide, up to $90/hr, paid per approved task.

## About the Role
Micro1 is engaging experienced HR and people operations practitioners to build benchmark tasks that measure what AI systems can really do. The work turns real HR workflows into realistic, difficult tasks gradable against objective criteria. No prior AI experience is needed.

## What You'll Do
- Design multi-step tasks from real HR work such as payroll operations, workforce planning, policy application and employee lifecycle processes
- Write objective grading criteria so two qualified reviewers reach the same verdict
- Create or source supporting material: policy documents, payroll reports, headcount data, employment agreements
- Build tasks that require judgment rather than lookup
- Flag ambiguous or ungradable tasks and deliver approved tasks on schedule

## Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on responsibility in payroll, workforce planning, HR policy or employee lifecycle operations
- Experience creating or applying standards such as HR policies, payroll checklists or compliance frameworks
- Comfort working across spreadsheets, reports and policy documents together
- Strong English, B2 minimum and C1 preferred
- HR certification (SHRM, CIPD, PHR or equivalent) and AI evaluation experience are a plus

## Compensation & Logistics
Pay is up to $90/hour equivalent (listed range $45-$90/hr), with roughly 10 hours per task. Fully remote with no geographic restrictions. Selection: screening questions, a role-specific AI interview, profile review, then onboarding.
