Micro1 needs finance experts to write and verify research questions on US public-company filings and test them against AI models. Remote, $30-$85/hr.

## About the Role
Micro1 is hiring contractors with hands-on US SEC filing experience to build hard finance research questions for AI evaluation. Each question targets a specific figure or fact buried in long filings or investor materials.

## What You'll Do
- Write questions that require locating a specific figure in a 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, proxy statement, earnings release or investor presentation.
- Create questions where two documents disagree (original vs. restated, adjusted vs. reported) and the answer depends on knowing which is right.
- Track the correct fiscal period, filing and latest amended version.
- Test each question against current AI models and keep only those they answer incorrectly.
- Rewrite questions whose wording allows more than one valid answer.

## Requirements
- Hands-on work with US filings and familiarity with US GAAP.
- Background in equity research, investment banking or corporate development, credit or restructuring, SEC reporting or Big 4 audit, or corporate law and due diligence.
- Comfortable reading long filings, footnotes and tables.
- Clear written English.

## Compensation & Logistics
Contractor role, fully remote and open worldwide. Listed pay is $30-$85 per hour (the posting text itself quotes $30-$60). Each task takes roughly 4 to 8 hours and you should be able to commit 5-8+ hours per week. Process: apply with resume and short profile, complete a short finance interview about your experience with US filings, review, then onboarding and a first reviewed task. You should be able to sign the contract within 24 hours and start within 24-48 hours of getting credentials.
