Mercor seeks senior electrical engineers to build Fortune 500-grade evaluation scenarios and rubrics for AI systems. Remote, $80/hr.

## About the Role
Mercor is looking for senior electrical engineers to create evaluation tasks for AI systems working in Fortune 500 enterprise electrical systems and product design. The scenarios match the design complexity, safety stakes and production scale of large industrial and technology manufacturers. Work follows an International track (IEC) and a US track (NEC / NFPA 70, NESC, IEEE); experts in either or both are encouraged to apply.

## What You'll Do
- Write enterprise electrical scenarios covering circuit and systems design cycles, multi-stakeholder design reviews and manufacturing or regulatory certification
- Build tasks across power systems and grid infrastructure, semiconductor and PCB design, embedded systems and firmware, signal processing and control systems
- Use tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE platforms and enterprise PLM/EDA systems
- Apply circuit simulation, EMC/EMI compliance, control theory and reliability analysis against the chosen track, producing reference specifications, analyses and executive-level narratives
- Write rubrics that separate authentic enterprise judgment from textbook recall

## Requirements
- 5+ years as a electrical engineer or engineering lead at a Fortune 500 or major technology, industrial or energy company (Intel, Texas Instruments, GE, Siemens, Tesla, ABB, Schneider Electric)
- Direct ownership of large-scale circuit designs, power systems or engineering certification programs
- Fluency in enterprise electrical engineering tools and methods, plus working knowledge of safety standards, regulatory certification (NEC / NFPA 70, IEEE, UL, FCC, IEC) and cross-functional design governance
- A professional engineering credential (US PE, or CEng / EUR ING) and prior rubric, training-curriculum or design-documentation authorship are a plus

## Compensation & Logistics
- Pay: $80 per hour.
- Location: Remote, no country restriction stated.
