Micro1 is hiring law students and recent JDs with law review experience to review Bluebook rubrics and build cite-checking tasks. Remote contractor, $50-$80/hr.

## About the Role
Micro1 is engaging law students and recent graduates with law journal experience for a legal citation project, applying cite-checking skills to AI training. No AI experience is required.

## What You'll Do
- Review Bluebook and pincite grading rubrics and flag unclear or inconsistent rules.
- Identify edge cases the rubrics miss and recommend handling.
- Create sample cite-checking tasks with realistic errors, correct answers and rule explanations.
- Build tasks across citation types and difficulty levels.
- Flag ambiguous cases to coordinators and deliver on schedule.

## Requirements
- Current law student (2L, 3L) or recent JD graduate.
- Law review or journal experience, ideally cite-checking or source collection.
- Strong working knowledge of the Bluebook: pincites, short forms, signals, parentheticals.
- Able to explain why a citation is wrong.
- Careful, consistent and independent; journal editor experience is a plus.

## Compensation & Logistics
Contractor role, remote, $50-$80 per hour. Process: apply with screening questions, AI interview, hiring team profile review, onboarding. Selected candidates should be able to sign the contract within 24 hours and begin tasks within 24-48 hours.
